  • Hi all,

Having examined almost every page and policy on the internet to insure my iPhone 4, I finally decided to take an Added Value Account with Lloyds TSB. Their mobile phone insurance is underwritten by Lifestyle Group PLC. I have the Lloyds TSB Silver Account at £3.99/mnth and this covers mobile phone insurance among other things.
How did you get this at £3.99/mth - Lloyds TSB website says £9.95/mth? Has it really gone up that much so quickly, or is there a way of getting it cheaper...?
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...

Morning after reading the latest post in this thread and having similar problems with CITYMAIN, I feel something must be done.
Last year my daughter who was in London at uni and working on a Sunday job, had her phone stolen by a group of Romanian girls who went in. We rung police get everything register but at the time, we did not have a phone insurance. We managed to claim via NFU Mutual who paid for he phone very very easily. We managed to get a good deal on an iPhone and she decided to get an insurance cover for the phone (I pay for phone contract) with CITYMAIN, just before Christmas she went out and phone had gone, we don't know if it was lost, stolen. I rung local police who told me brum police does not issue lost phones with crime reference numbers. CITYMAIN has refuse because if is not taken by force they do not pay up.
We follow everything to the letter and feel completely conned. disgraceful.

LLOYDS TSB PREMIER ACCOUNT phone insurance was not better. I rung to file a claim only to be told later that they refuse claim because it wasn't within 24 hours. I rung 3 and police in24 hours but Sunday they were closed and although I spoke to someone at Lloyds it did not register. I have since changed accounts. I was very cross.
