Citronella oil is not toxic, nor is it "highly flammable". A bit of an overreaction.Bought, not Brought0

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citronella_oil apparently the worst it can do is irritate skin and cause dermatitis. I'd go to the doctor who would probably prescribe hydrocortisone (steroid) cream. At least it would have kept the insects away from you.0

The OP is the sort of dredge on society we need rid of
1) minor accident occurs
2) Store fully reimburses cleaning, apologetic and take appropiate action
3) OP overreacts, talks general crap and then tries to blackmail more cash out of the store for non necessary luxuries
She needs to get a life and a few braincells and stop trying to get something for nothing0 -

Who claimed it was "highly flammable"?
Oil is a flammable liquid though. That's why, many years ago, before we were born people had oil lamps, lamps fuelled by oil and lit with fire to burn.

How big was the bottle?
Did you get a receipt for the taxi?
Word it like this: I have a receipt for the taxi I got to travel home,as I was concerned that i was covered in flammable liquid. Please could you reimburse me.0 -

Thats where it was claimed to be 'highly flamable' and 'toxic' - a total over reaction.
I found the comment about being scared to get on a bus highly amusing, i don't see how a bus is any more/less likely to cause ignition than a taxi.
She would have been better 'slipping' on the oil and going for compensation rather than moaning about something that has clearly been dealt with efficiently.0 -
I'm sorry but the lot of you 'knowing better' about everything need to shut up. When you have oil on you then you can worry. You are all sitting there and judging but it is very different when you are in the situation. At the time your first thought isn't to wikipedia what is on your skin and stand there while it soaks into you thinking about if or if not it is a possible danger (esp if you have a child with you) and when you have asthma and eczema as well your priority is to get it off.Debts: Gym £[strike]465.75[/strike] Student account [strike]£1039.88[/strike] Overdraft [strike]£129.00[/strike] Credit Card [strike]£2772.22[/strike] Loan [strike]£6222.01 [/strike]
