My mother is coming to stay tonight from france so spruce up the house and make the bed up.
Bought my stepfather a Parker Knoll chair in a charity shop yesterday for a £10, bargain, need to repair the seat today. He really needs a higher chair as is struggling getting in and out of his.
Sleeping better, really recomend reflexology for this.

:hello: Gooood Morning, fellow OS'ers :D:D:D

Computer based work this morning, updating my accounts, some letters to get off, a Lightspeed survery which will take 30minutes of my time and some PC crafting for Christmas gifts using the reduced pillar candles I bought from Tesco's last month and some special papers I was given free from a website a couple of years ago.

Need to take the hoover for a walk around the house and give the microfibre cloth a flick around too.

Sloe's will be put to use this afternoon/evening.

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday, MP!! :D :bdaycake:

((hugs)) for those who need/want them.

pawpurrs what a great bargain for that chair! :T

Have a good Friday, everyone :):)

    Good morning everyone

Happy Birthday Mushypeas. Have a great day whatever your plans are

Still have washing to do. That's always the worst thing about coming back from a holiday - the washing seems endless.

Need to pop out to bank and post office at some point as well.

Not much else to be done as I cracked on and got a lot done yesterday :j

    Have great Friday

    Bye for now
  • Morning everyone.

quick one before w**k to say hello, and happy birthday to mushy peas, plus welcome back.

it's a big one for me today, as i start my maternity leave at 1:30. It's also a teacher training day. I got asked to see the head yesterday after school, and he had bought me a box of choccies and got me a card to say good luck, and that i would be missed, so they would be waiting to get me back.

Makes me feel better that although my head of dept is an arrogant ......, the proper boss appreciates me. It's a bit sad really. It will be a long time to be away from my colleagues who i am close to. Bet i pop in a few times with little pud once he arrives.

OS wise - probably nothing today. I was up late helping DH do the VAT return, and we thought we might go out or have a takeaway this evening as we both have had such a busy week. I will have lunch at home though, and try to get some washing through the machine so we can enjoy our weekend together. Poor DH is shattered as he has been cooking for me all week while i've collapsed on the sofa.

Anyway, best go as i want to be earliesh into work today to try and catch a few people to say goodbye to.

    Michelle, xx

    good morning everyone.

i love the damp , dark dull morning's.but it is making it so hard tog et out of bed. up late again today. not good.

i have been feeling so un-inspired the last couple of day's. i need to get myself motivated as i even bought a shop cake yesterday. i know i shouldn't and even when i did i kept thinking i could make on just as nice. but on a good note i did make a prop meal for dinner last night. Hm spag bol and it was gorgeous, the family really enjoyed it. apart form my daugther she wouldn't eat anything , not even a pack of crisps or a banana. so maybe she is coming down with something . because she never turns down spag bol.

i'm off to a parent and toddler group this morning. we are doing face painting today.

then when i get home if i get motivated i have some laundry to hang on airer , clean and dry laundry to put away . and i have no bread or roll's so i must make some and some biscuits as i am drinking my morning cuppa with nothing to dunk in it. ahhhhhhhhh.

not sure about whats for dinner tonight, but i know i have lots of vegetable that need to be used. so i may make a vegetable fritata . a recipe i found begining of the week.

hope everyone else is having a good day and is feeling more motivated than me

    Morning everyone:hello:
Kids are eating leftover pizza for breakfast with a glass of milk and an apple to follow. Not sure what I'll have, probably oatcakes and an apple later. I'm not hungry yet. It something of a triumph that there was still pizza leftover, normally I'd have eaten it yesterday evening :o but I didn't :j

After I've dropped off the kids, I'm going to walk to Tesco for the weekend wine supply :D and to get some exercise.

Will probably make some bread later. Supper is going to be a fish/seafood stew with bread. Should go down well with the kids  still they've had pizza for breakfast so they can't complain.

    Good morning everyone,

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUSHY PEAS

Another bad nights sleep here, but never mind, last day at work (have 3 here today!!!) but planning on dressing up and making mice out of pine cones, so the fact its raining shouldnt matter!!!!
Need to sort my kitchen out as well today, seems to have become the dumping ground for anything and everything, so needs a good going over.
Right, off to finish my cuppa and eat the breakfast the little one has made for me (plastic pizza followed by plastic strawberry ice cream with sprinkles)
    Have a lovely day everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Good morning and happy birthday Mushypeas!!!

Sad to say I am at work already! Yes I know I'm on the net but I dont oficially start until 8 ish so amuse myself beforehand (and may sometimes forget to do work for a while as well!!)

Apart from work my aim today is to try my hardest not to spend money. They are so fed up of me at the library! Nothing planned for the weekend but may bully OH into laying the decking down the side of house just so the whole thing is finished. Mind you the weather forcast is pretty grim so that probably wont happen so i will be on the PC a lot!!
