Rach - ring them and ask them what they can do about it. Don't risk being charged for being overdrawn, get on in there and tell them what's going on and that they've left you severely compromised. Its amazing what they can do when you stand up for yourself. Don't forget, its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease, so keep on squeaking! Big hugs!
have tried to ring the CALL CENTRE AND ITS NOT OPEN AND UNFORTUNATELY OUR LOCAL BRANCH ISNT OPEN TODAY EITHER. oooooop sorry hit caps lock by mistake. is there anything else i can do??

I have woken up with a hangover this morning:o . I had a friend over earlier in the evening which meant a bottle of wine was opened and then DH came home and we hadn't seen each other for a few days so had a few more drinks whilst we chatted, result = big headache and feeling slightly queasy but I have just had a big glass of grapefruit juice and some bread and I hope that helps.
Me too gingin. :( The Abba Tribute band was fantastic last night - but in all the rush last night, taking DDs to swimming lessons, and getting home with only 25 mins to get ready, I forgot to eat - paying for it today! I had that horrible feeling when I got into bed this morning, desperate for sleep but everytime I shut my eyes, the room started spinning 100 miles an hour...........:o

Beautiful day here today, not a cloud in the sky and really warm and sunny. Need to do a big Costco shop, restock up the garage, as we have almost run out of everything. But at the minute I just can't face doing anything. :(

DD's loved High School Musical and DD1 woke me this morning singing "I'm flying and soaring"

    Have a good day all.

Anyway - meatballs out of the freezer for dinner. Kids :heartpuls meatballs so I know we won't have any nagging at the table tonight - yay.

Of to Tesco - I have made a list and I SHALL stick to it

    Take care everyone.

  • Morning all! Queenie, love the new fence. Did you paint it, 'cos I think you've missed a bit :rotfl: :rotfl:

Had a lie in to 8am this morning - first one in months!

DD went waterskiing in Scotland after school, and will be home on Sunday. She forgot her sleeping bag  We tried to ring her, but phone switched off  Won't be a disaster as she's in a 'van, and there's a spare bag there, but she does like her own pod.

DS has gone to scout camp. Looked pretty wet, there, but not raining now. There's only 12 of them gone, and the leaders are great fun, so he'll love it. He's made a big play of taking toothbrush and soap, but I'm sure they'll be unused when he gets back. :rotfl:

DH has gone to China and Korea for the week. Work he says, but pretty much being wined and dined, I reckon  He has a night in Hong Kong, so is off to buy silk for DD to turn into a dress.

Queenie, I've freed up some space in my in-box! :A We had pigeon breast for tea last night - delicious.

Off to FLC III, then singing in a concert tonight. We're doing some G&S, not my favourite at the best of times, but we've been asked to act too   Not me!! Good job I'm in the third row.

Had a fab charity shop day yesterday - jumper, gorgeous black and white jacket with claret lining, black and white skirt, lovely Betty Barclay buff skirt (fitted around the top then bit of a swish around the knee), 2 shirts form Principles, all for less that £25. Bargain. Got chestnut hair rinse from Savers, so that's my relaxation for this afternoon. :D

Have a great weekend, Penny. x

  • Good morning everyone,

up early this morning (for a saturday anyway) so have the TD on already, and made bacon softies for breakfast (yum!)

Have booked the car in for its mot on monday so I'll be seeing twink this weekend :D I have a wonderfully helpfull fmil :D

Plans for today: not sure exactly what we're doing yet. Got a lot of cleaning done yesterday, so can take it a bit easier today. Once the TD is finished I'll be putting another wash on, and will start going through the cupboards to see what I'm making for lunch. Tea will be something from the freezer - maybe pizza I think. Right! Going to finish my coffee and get going. Have a great day everyone. *Hugs* to all - take or leave as you please. :j

(and I watched High School Musical last night and rather liked it) :p

  • Hi all,
This is my first post on daily thread although have been lurking for about a year, have changed so many of my ways to OS, and decided to be brave and say hello to you all, as all your tips have helped me so much.:T

Have done loads today, which means i am up to date with housework (usually unheard of for me!!) Although i really need the sun to come out from behind the clouds and dry some of the washing on the line.

Taking the little angels (DD3yrs & DS 15mths) to the circus today for a treat, (not cheap i know but I have got some discount vouchers:money: )
I am really looking forward to it myself, haven't been to a circus for years, it has lions tigers, crocodiles(?) according to the flyers, and i think the kids will love it. Cant wait to see their expressions...

Hope everyone has a good day, especially those getting together at the meet.

    Sunny Angel.
  • hello all..

my first time on the OS daily thread too! I've been lurking far too long - time to put in an appearance..

One lot of washing on the line, another in the WM. I've got a beef casserole defrosting (from a SC batch) for tea.. and I'm at work at the moment, revising for my viva next week - no peace if I tried to do it at home! Once I do get home, hopefully a quick clean round the bathroom, and that's it for today. DD and OH are hopefully running around the garden as I type - nice day for it!

Thought I'd pop on to tell you about our exciting walk into town. :j :j

We had lunch , popped into the greengrocer's to get carrots and coriander so that DH can make carrot and coriander soup tomorrow........ then we popped to the butcher so that I could get some mince. Apparently, it's "British Food Fortnight" and our butcher was doing "buy something, get a free cooked burger" deal. As they were about to close, we got one each :j :j :j So, that's 2 lunches and we've still got a 2yr old's birthday party to go to. :D

To think that I was just celebrating the fact that I had lost 2lbs this week. :rotfl:

PS If anyone is interested in the British Food Fortnight, then I've just found the website here: www.britishfoodfortnight.co.uk
