    Morning All,

Very autumnal here this morning was foggy at about 6.50 when DD woke me!

Nothing very OS this morning, first load in WM, DD in leotard & wrap ready for ballet, managed to get her hair up in a bun with the help of lots of grips and hairspray and she looks so lovely.

DS having fillings at 10 so am trying to keep him distracted as he can't eat before the sedation, think I need sedation more than him, I have butterflies in my tummy.:o

Quiet day today, will have to shop at some point though once I know DS is settled.

Hope the meet today goes well. Hugs to all in need.

    Morning All

Busy day ahead of us again. Sister is coming round this morning to see DD I think shes missing her more than she will let on. Then after DD nap we need to go to town en-familie (sp) as DH work shoes have fallen apart again they must have been glued 20 times so I think he deserves a new pair. While we are in town I will go to the market for fruit and veg and then we need to nip to Aldi and also possible Lidl to have see if they have an clothes airers left from there Thursday promotion.

Rest of the day will be taken up bread making, pizza making for tea and more washing and ironing (will it never end)

    Have a good day everyone

Edited to say: My dads just phoned to say bye as hes going to Madrid till Wednesday evening and he says I can use his car if I pick them up from the airport :j I'm mobile.

am tired - I sat for 3 1/2 hours last night typing out and re-adjusting my T&C's so my eyes still feel like they are on stalks :) DS2 came in at 6.30 demanding porridge too :(

Today I will have a couple of hours to myself as Mr TM is taking the boys into town. DS1 has started guitar lessons but his guitar is far too big for him so we've said he can have a 3/4 size one (apparently they are about £30) and DS2 can have it afterwards. It's also the sort of thing you can sell on I expect. So, I shall mooch off towards Preston. Want to just have a wander as well as go to Makro

Will make the boys wear all their school trouser today so I can finally get round to shortening them and taking the waists in. It's getting time to wear trousers methinks ;)

    B: Porridge and fruit
L: Butties unless I'm out then, erm .... butties ? :rotfl:
D: I think I got some base sauce out of the freezer last night so it may be a ckicken curry (unless it's a portion of carrot soup)

Have a good day everyone and hope the mini-meet goes well.

Bit disheartened at new job, has anyone any experience with house cleaning contractor jobs ? PM me?
Won't bore you all with it but I know I could do a better job if I went it alone so to speak.

So as my mood wasn't good yesterday I acheived nothing, today I am going to start with the ironing - may attempt the lavender ironing water I've seen suggested. Then deep clean this house with stardrop, zoflora and vinegar - will justify my 'shoddy' but best attempts at work yesterday.Bit of shopping to to do meal planner come to it's end so am scrabbling around in the freezer, pleasantly surprised though.

DS's are tired after a full week at school so will let them chill with PS's and friends, DH day off he is relaxing with paper.

Sun is shining though so that's a good start.

  • Good morning everyone, welcome new posters:wave:

Looks like a nice day here in Worcester, hoping to get a megaload of washing dry outside.

I have to take dd to ballet later, boys are off to judo.
Not sure what's for lunch yet probably beans on toast or soup if I get the time. Supper is a chicken probably roasted. Picked some blackberries yesterday which are in the freezer so maybe a blackberry and apple pud of some sort. Pie sounds good, but we had pastry yesterday and I ate the leftovers intended for the freezer :o  I can't seem to stop eating, I'm just plain greedy:(

    Good morning everyone,

Had a late night last nigth, so stayed in bed til 9 this morning, when lovely DD brought me up a cup of tea!!!! I love my children!!!!
Have nothing planned today, DSs football has been cancelled, so no standing in a muddy field, and i dont have to rush up into the shower and get washed and dressed, but can spend a bit of time having a mooch around MSE!!!!
Do need to sort my kitchen out today tho, and want to pop out to get some lamb for a roast tomorrow, my mum is coming down, just for the day, and sent me some money to get the ingredients!!!!!
Right, off to relax a bit more!
    Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Morning all :hello:

Just back from Barcelone :D:D Weather was great and had a wonderful time. Wont complain too much about the delay coming home or the fact that my clothes and rucksack smell of Brandy , had too put it in hold as not brought in airport. Well at least the washing is on :D

Need to do a quick tidy, hit the market for some food and get ready for Rome on Tuesday. Not very OS, but all paid for from savings and have brought back some spending money :)
Right, onwards and upwards, looks like the weather is going to be kind to me.
Ironing, BM and yoghurt to do
    Have fun

    Morning everyone :hello:

I've had (and been able to have :j :j :j) a lie-in! Woohoo! After getting up at 6 all week and then spending the days with my class, it was a welcome relief. Sadly, I've got LOADS of work to do this weekend though. :(

The highlight of my day is going to our godson's 2nd birthday party. Which reminds me, I've got to find some wrapping paper. I've got plenty of christmas wrapping paper (bought in sales earlier this year :)), but can't remember where I put the "normal" stuff.

See you later and have a good day

  • Good morning to all who've posted and all who follow...

Busy day for me - off to our nearest big town in a minute to get the food shopping for the week but instead of heading straight to Tesco, I'm going to the market first to get fruit and veg (this has nothing to do with the veg stall being next to the second hand bookstall that sells cracking 1960's/1970's cookbooks, oh no...). Then it's cleaning and cooking when I get home plus the weekly update of the spending diaries and household budget spreadsheet. Also going to fit in an hours walk later as I haven't been exercising for ages.

    Breakfast: Toast & tea
    Lunch: Baked Potato & salad
Dinner: HM Cheese & lentil bake and salad

Cooking: Grasmere Gingerbread and green tomato chutney
