Hello fellow OSers, hope peoples' weekends are going well.
I got off to a bad start - got up early to put on the washing, only to find that following yesterday's rain we had no electricity. It's back on now, but too late to get anything dry. Grrr - it was a perfect sunny/blowy drying day here as well. Fingers crossed that tomorrow will be ok.
Went to a scouts book sale, where I loaded up with things to put on Amazon. They were selling other bits and pieces too - I got a lovely long black skirt for £1, which still had its original £29.99 price tag on. DH got a bike for £10 for his brother, who had his stolen a few weeks ago, so not a bad morning out.
No plans for tomorrow yet, other than hopefully getting that washing done, but there is always a long list of chores that need doing, so I'm sure we'll keep busy.
Going out or staying in, hope you all have a lovely Saturday evening.0 -
Haven't been on for a while due to being whisked off in an ambulance in total ****** agony, looks like a kidney stone but having tests on Monday.
Still feeling very dodgy so no OS done, however, mum has supplied us with about a weeks worth of grocery, plus 12 hm fruit pies for the freezer, 6 jars of hm pickled onions and shallots and a large hock:D (shes 86 and an :A )
Hopefully will get back to things over the next day or two
Hope everyones well
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.
