Morning All
Had a terrible night DD woke at 2 and 4. Its awhile since that happened so feel pretty wiped out.
Plan for the day is nappies need washing, budget needs doing as DH got payed today and I need to do some batch cooking so DD has some meals for when I go back to work next week.
Will get on with them later this morning I'm going to brave the bus again as DD need to go to toddler group to use up some excess energy. Wish me luck

Morning all!
Seem to have a lot of washing this week. DD1 has been clearing out her bedroom in readiness for going to university on Sunday and its resulted in the linen basket being filled up with clothes she's picked up from the floor!Need to cook some more HM ready meals for her to take with her as well as some inspiration as to what to cook for dinner.
I need to get DD2 eating more fruit so need some sweet recipes where the fruit is hidden, such as summer pudding. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Ive got my homemade bread at the ready to make it with. Just need to get some fruit when Im in town later. Or are the mixed bags of frozen fruit better?

Morning all,
Had a bad night last night - dh suffers intermittently from depression - hasn't had a bad do for 2 years and then last night..... and it always seems to be at 3amI think he's still very jet lagged from the trip to the States and has come back to a pile of cr*p at work. I'm trying to get him to work at home tomorrow and then I can screen the phone calls.
So I'm shattered as well - being on here is my treat to cheer me up. I need to tackle the ironing this morning - will find some trashy tv, do some baking and hopefully fit in a swim (maybe) - I'd rather be baking.
Dinner will be Chinese meatballs with walnuts and rice and lots of carrots - the veg bag is due again on Fri and we're coming down in carrots! Maybe some carrot soup as well.

Hi everyone
Due to OH broncitis I'm sleeping the spare room at the moment, so I woke up not knowing where I was this morning, most odd. I'm feeling like I've got a temperature so I think he may have infected me.... it would be this week I've booked some time off .......
Lovely sausage casserole last night, it was a throw everything in, casserole and although I forgot the herbs it still tasted lovely.
At w**k now but have jacket spuds on the menu for tonight.
Can't get near the WM as SD is moving out this weekend to her own pad and seems to be catching up on all her washing before she goes.
Thats all the OS I can think of at the moment.0 -
 morning all!!! Or afternoon or evening depending on when you read this!!
Bran flakes for brekkie today, but at my desk again as got up late
worked last night. Lunch is HM soup again  can't decide whether to make parsnip soup or pea soup for lunches next week
Dinner I think will be carbonara as I have all the ingredients for this  tonight will be spent blitzing my laundry pile, general decluttering, and making of cards if I have time
and my aim is to get an early night as I am very tired *yawn*
Need to make another loaf of bread as well so will probably chuck the BM on tonight too, how lovely is that smell of bread  Have a good day all, take care and chat soon xx (((hugs))) to all xx

Morning everyone
Well I have already washed and dried 2 loads of washing and another is on the line. Apparently we are predicted to get the tail end of a hurricane today (poss tomorrow)
Anyway, not much else OS today as I am at work all day, straight to the gym and have friends over for dinner.
Last night I baked 54 muffins for work today! I had to change my recipes as I realised I hadn't got a bag of frozen raspberries after all, they were mixed fruit so the white chocolate and raspberry became white chocolate and mixed berries, and I hadn't got any cherries so my coconut and cherry became just coconut. I still made my double chocolate and I did chocolate, raisin and hazelnut too. They are already going down a storm. I also made a lasagne for dinner this evening. Cleaned the house and did all my ironing. I was shattered!
Meals today: Berakfast: coconut muffin :j
Lunch: possibly a sandwich or salad (from a shop)
Dinner: home made lasagne, mini jacket potatoes, mixed salad and garlic bread
Have a great day everyone0 -
Morning folks
Happy birthday to skystar :bdaycake:
Welcome back moggins :hello:
Have done the school run but I seem to have the day to myself, so am going to have a leisurely shower and hair wash then go into town. Have a MS to do and will go to Aldi and Lidl to stock up on some staples.
WM is on and BM needs to go on today. Didn't get any sewing done last night so that's a must very soon as DS2's school trousers are all too long so he's in shorts. Will have to do a house blessing before it gets too bad too.
B: bran flakes
L: soup (I hope :rotfl:)something with chicken, done in the SC
((hugs)) to all as needed

Morning all :hello:
Happy birthday to skystar :bdaycake:
Still chasing around after bl**dy solicitors. Should have some movement by this afternoon thanks to efforts of nice helpful overworked lady at the Housing Association.
Lots of work to do today, but am going to make a special effort to leave the office at 5 and make the most of my evening at home (I'm out tomorrow at after-work drinks, and on Friday I'm going to a show). I've stocked up the freezer with meals so I know I don't have to cook for the rest of the week, but I MUST NOT succumb to the temptation of a nice glass of wine in front of the telly - there are boxes which need packing (on the assumption that these solicitors ever get their @rses in gear to enable me to move house). Therefore I'm imposing an alcohol ban on myself - which will do me good anyway, as I suspect tomorrow's "do" will be the sort where I wake up the next morning vowing never to drink again
Hope everyone's well - anybody seen PP lately?

:hello: Gooood Morning fellow OS'ers
I have football kits in the wash that have been hanging around from Sundaybut I needed to wait until I had a full coloureds wash before putting them; perfect breezy drying day today too.
 Many happy returns, Skystar
:j Good luck with your new job tired mum :T
:T Welcome home, moggins :T
I'm going to do some sneaky swotting today so that I don't appear such a dumbo at next weeks Spanish. Have some ironing to get on with so I can listen to DS's Spanish tape and talk to myself outloud while no one's about and practise rolling my 'rrrr's'. The lovely teacher gave us the addy of a webpage that is free which we can use so if any of you are learning or have children who are check out Languages Online just don't try and do your ironing at the same time
Baking day today to use the free plums from my friends garden. I'll report back on that later.
Wishing you all only good things ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
