    Good morning all

Haven't been around recently, as we had a very busy weekend & then I have been ill, so spent all day yesterday ironing so we have some clothes to wear. The place is still in need of flyladying back to the way it is supposed to look. I haven't been up to too much nagging either, so DS's "Lord of the Rings" warhammer game pieces are everywhere, cos he has taken advantage of me being out of action to fill the living room with them while he makes a fortress out of spare slats from the wooden venetian blinds. Actually the fortress looks very good, very ingenious the way he has used the slots in the wood to form arrow slits in the towers. On the other hand, I'm not sure they are my chosen decoration for the living room! I am already in disgrace for knocking one of the figures over & breaking its leg! (well, I was trying to find the plug socket for the iron - and this horse & rider figure was on top of the tower in front of the plug - and its a metal figure, quite heavy, but only attached to the base by one leg, so as far as I can see it is very likely to get broken if perched in an inconvenient place)

Anyway, I may not be back on here for a while, as I am taking the computer to "hospital" later today following DS1's visit the other day, when he did something to the computer - either turned off some of its protection, or downloaded something he shouldn't. Anyway, things haven't been the same since he got hold of it!!!

Also today need to do a bit of a storecupboard challenge, cos things are a bit tight this month, so I don't want to have to do any more shopping than necessary!

    Have a good day!

    Morning all

I took a whizz round the internet, found no where like OS so came home again. Thanks for the pm's though.

Kaz it's nice to see you, can you get my DS to get up in the morning now? He got a real telling off last night for the amount of time it takes to get him up, it seems to have made a difference this morning.

It's turned very cold and windy here, but I may attempt a trip into the market, there are a few things I need and I need a trip out. I'm going to make an attempt to put some washing on the line first though.

    Morning all :hello:

Oh moggins there you are :D

I told everyone yesterday that if you went MIA for too long, I would go round your house and get you back. I'm glad you've posted, I was a bit worried about turning up and you thinking I was a total loon :D I was quite prepared to risk that though :D

    Happy Birthday to Skystar

Two loads of washing on the line, one in the machine. The larder has been cleaned and sorted. The animals need cleaning out, they stink this morning, must be all the veg I gave them yesterday LOL. I'm going make a big slab sponge cake with icing for lunchboxes. Then later on all the washing will need ironing :( Somewhere in there I have to fit in going to work :D

Aussielass it is indeed like riding a bike, my DD1 was 16 when DD was born and it was like falling off a log. plus as a toddler they don't need quite the constant attention that a newborn does, but I don't envy you the potty training :D

Morning all, thought I would join in too.

It is a nice crisp day here. We are off on the school run soon and when I get back I am going to start knitting, something I never would have contemplated had I not joined here. I found out yesterday that my best friend is pregnant :j with her first, so I am going to attempt to knit a hat for the baby and if it really looks bad it can go on one of dd's baby doll's. DD had her MMR yesterday and is running a temperature so we will cosy up inside today until we have to pick up ds.

OH stays in London midweek as he has such a long commute each day into work so it is just the children and I tonight. I quite like it really and at least I get to have the remote control to myself!

    Breakfast: Toast
    Lunch: Sandwiches
    Dinner: Thai red curry.

    Hiya everyone,

Just got home and going to start tea. House is coming along nicely and have taken a few piccys and will post them later on tonight. DH has to put them on his computer now as since mine has been fixed  the program won't work.
The fella's are staying for tea so cooking Spag bolg & BS Fruit Cobbler. :D

Great to see you back Moggins and ((((hugs)))) to those who are feeling a bit down in the dumps. Alright better make a start in the kitchen. Still got this rotten headache. Oh....on one of my trips back here to get more cold water I came across a snake on the dirt road right in front of me. Gave me the biggest fright. I stopped dead still and it slithered away. Glad I didn't have the dogs with me.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    morning everyone.

we don't have much planned today. cupboards have lots of things in them i can use to make little treat's. so i am planning to make some fork biccy's and flapjack and apricot oat bars. hubbys lunch box this morning was rather empty.

i've got some laundry to hang on the airer and some to put away. then i must try to hoover upstairs at somepoint.

not sure about dinner as hubby is working till gone 7 tonight and that always throws me for some strange reason.
