I forgot to tell you we saw the nasiest spider for ages tonight. DH just got out of the shower and called "Aussielass Aussielass" :D check this out. In the folds of the shower curtain was this big mama with huge fangs. I usually get a dustpin brush and sort of lift them on that and put them outside on a tree. But this one looked deadly so got the spray. It's outside (dead) and DH is going to look up later on the internet to see what type it was.

Im interested to know what this turns out to be! Someone my brother knows once had some bike parts shipped from abroad and there was a little black spider sitting on it with eggs. He put it in a jar with the eggs and put air holes in the top and gave it to my brother (cos he knows experts who know about these sort of things). Turns out it was a black widow! Plus, if the eggs had hatched they would have been small enough to have crawled out of the air holes! Doesn't bear thinking about!

We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Just had a phone call from OFSTED, the lady who was meant to be coming to see me has been signed off sick, so i wont be getting my inspection now!!!!! Will have to wait for her to get better and then re appoint it, never mind, hopefully they will get to me at some stage!!!!!
  • Well just had an argument with Mr's Tesco about using luncheon vouchers ..... made me feel as though I was being dishonest in using them  and to think I used to work for them. I feel a strong letter coming on

Well have tried cappuccino bars first for OH, are in the oven as I type. Will have to do the banana loaf tonigt as not enough time to bake before massage appointment.
Do you think I could mix the ingredients and leave it to rest???

Well a qucik 5 mins to surf and then on with the washing up and hoovering.

It was this one - White-tailed Sac Spider (Lampona cylindrata). Bite can cause severe illness. Venom contains flesh-dissolving enzymes. Eastern Australia.

Lukcy we killed it. Might vacume tomorrow again :p just in case it has a partner somewhere.

Cat How annoying for you. I hate it when that sort of thing happens. I'd rather just get it over and done with. Bit like going to the dentist.

Off to bed now so hope you all have a nice day. Nite Nite.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
