Beth - what dreadful news and such a shock; (((hugs))) to you and the poor man's family.
Well, have been busy with visitors this morning and had a lazy nap this afternoon followed by an hour of mending - stuff that's been piling up for weeks. DS1 texted to say that they have all arrived in Iceland safely so I can stop worrying about them.
We had a nice roast with pork, spring greens, carrots, potatoes and gravy followed by HM jam sponge and custard and I am going to have an early bath and watch the new Ray Mears series starting tonight - I love his programmes.
SMOKY - great to read your post; you're doing brilliantly.
Hope everyone has a good evening.

DD had her school reunion last night came here to sleep. OH dear DSIL had to cope with 3 sick boys! DD will not get much sympathy with the hangover methinks.
It was great having her here this morning a great girli/Mum morning after debriefing which we haven't had for years. Def dressing gown talk this am.
Love and hugs to all else. Too tired done the garden and planted today. Lots to plant in borders but so dry having to hose every night to try to get some moisture.

(((((beth)))))), it is a shock. Something similar happened to the husband of my mum's cousin on Sunday too (not as distant a relationship as it sounds). They live in cheshire, were down here last weekend, having just come back from Holland, they were so pleased to see everyone, and then this Sunday he is gone. Hopefully you will all get support from each other.
Smokey, glad you are still popping by when you feel up to it, you are doing so well. (((((hugs)))))Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0
