Very happy, thank you for asking. In fact I'm happier than I have been for a lot of years. If ever I get to Squeaky's home town, I'll buy him a beer or two. If he hadn't moved me to the Daily, I'd never have met you nice folk or "mi Julie" :j

Is Squeaky a bloke then ?

According to the photo on "his" website, I think so.

However, "he" might just be a seriously butch looking girlie :o  :D

    Good afternoon everyone ,
and welcome home Pen-Pin I hope you soon feel better. Its great to get out of hospital and back in your own bed isn't it.

I have had a busy week with four trips to the hospital for my R/therapy.(35 mile round trip everytime ) It's costing a fortune in petrol. The last one on Thursday, they told me I would have to have the measurements altered as the rads they had done were all in the wrong place, so a week has been wasted:mad: Back there next Tuesday for the whole lot to start again.Everyday for the next four weeks  Still as long as it works .

Friday night I treated my DGD Katie to a meal at Nandos and the movies. The meal wasn't all that exciting ,and I thought a bit over-priced, but we saw the Indiana Jones film and that was quite funny and we both enjoyed it. I have a cinema exhibitors ticket so only had to pay for one ticket. After we arrived home of Friday night my brother rang from France to say he was coming home next Sunday for a few days. I am really pleased as I haven't seen him for nearly two years:j

Yesterday my DD and her husband came round and cut my lawn for me which was rather long to say the least My garden looks a lot better now.Good job it was done then as it poured with rain all night and is still a bit drizzly at the moment .

Eldest DD came for brunch this morning after shopping, and we had a good moan about how the food prices are rocketing. She said that the shops close to me were empty and even Iceland's had nobody in there, and they are usually busy on a Sunday morning.Perhaps people are thinking more about what they buy instead of just filling their trolleys.
I have had a good week financially, and only spent just under £20.00 on food shopping and have been 'shopping from my freezer/cupboards'. it's amazing how much stuff accumulates in there at times.
well <,hugs to those in need> and a big :D to the rest of you.Have a good week chums

    Afternoon everyone

Very windy here but no rain at the moment, the washing is mostly dry and i`ve just brought it in as it`s going rather dark so i don`t think it will be long before we get the promised downpour.

I`ve been in the garden but not done any of the big jobs that are left to do, i`ve moved all the tubs and troughs with the seedlings in to a sheltered spot as the forecast said 50mph gales and i really don`t want to lose any of them.

Martyn - its nice to see you so happy

Catowen - i think i may just sneak an hour on the sofa

Pooky - hope that everyone in the poorly house is feeling better soon

Smoky - (((HUGS))) for you and the little ones

Tru - the piggies look lovely, i absolutely love guinea pigs and wish i could have some, unfortunately my monster cat would like them a little bit too much.

Hester - what breed of doggie is Tia?

DH has just rung to say the weather where he is fishing is terrible, he`s staying and camping out (must be mad in this) and not back until Tuesday.
I`m about to have a lovely hot roast pork sandwich as the meat in the slowcooker is now ready YUM!.

    Have a nice afternoon everyone.

    Hello
Hugs to all who need them.
DD played cricket this morning but managed to bowl 3 wides and be out once so their team lost!!! She is really inconsistent and now says she doesn't want me to watch as I bring her bad luck.
Thinking about doing some ironong or making bread but still sat here on computer. I'm sure I'd get more done if I didn't have one. Blitzed one cupboard in kitchen after church and OH didn't even notice!!
DS tidied his room but only because friends mum asked if her son could stay tomorrow night as they were going out. Still got job done.
Decided that breadmaking was preferable to ironong so am off to do loaf for tea - Sunday dinner put off until tomorrow when DS friend is here.
