    Hello everyone!!

Penpin - lovely to see you are home, take it easy and I hope you feel better very soon

    Martyn - :j:j:j

Donny-gal - great news, I didn't want Leeds to win!!

Stefejb - obviously I was devastated yesterday when I realised Doctor Who wasn't on, but I was brave and managed to hold back the tears :D

((((Hugs)))) to everyone feeling down or poorly or both xx

Well, I did nearly all the jobs on my list yesterday, the only thing I didn't do was baking (in the cake sense) as I couldn't decide what to do and didn't really need anything anyway. But I did inadvertently make some bread! When we have pizza we always halve the recipe (I say "we" - I actually mean OH), but I went a bit wrong - I halved everything except the water!! :p So then I have to add the other half of the rest of the ingredients, and miraculously the dough wasn't spoilt! So I made bread with the left-over dough. It just proves that I really shouldn't be left alone to make pizza dough!:D

I've been very lazy today, I've cleaned the kitchen and washed some bedding but thats all. We're going to have chilli for tea, I'm going to see how far I can stretch the mince. Better get on with it!

    Take care

    G xx

Ah Donny-Gal, congrats on the win! Bro-in-law supposedly supports Leeds but when things started going downhill, he turned to rugby! So we were cheering on Donny just to cheese him off, lol.

Well today has been a mixed day. We managed to get the wrong pump for our toilet, so that's going back tomorrow and then we'll go to Wickes to see what they have.... otherwise we'll be Screwfixing it! Managed to pick up a few yellow stickered bits in Sainsbugs so will have to update my siggy soon. Had a Starbucks too, only because I nearly fainted, so a Java Chip frap was desperately needed as I'm the only driver!

Been discussing our holiday and shall be booking the hotel this week. Using Pigsback vouchers for a couple of meals out and have some stuff on Ebay (and more being added later this week) for spending money. the change pot will be paying for the hotel, and then once it's empty it'll be for Christmas pressies :)

Cannot wait to taste the JD ham, having it with wedges now and mini corn on the cobs. Didn't have much luck with the flowers today so will prob get some in town tomorrow, from my fave (but a little expensive) food shop, Bills :D

The last things we are are football supporters (apart from DS), but listened via Radio 5 Live, but you have to support your local team.

Andy Murray has turned his game round and got through too! Now Tennis is my sport.

afternoon all. today has been a busy day. church this morning, baby sang particularly tunelessly throughout the quiet bits. then cooked pork chops and roasties and veg for lunch. afternoon was spent at a kiddies' party. very noisy, disco and bouncy castle, but the girls loved it. middle daughter won a best dancer prize and was chuffed. bless her giving it all with her 3 year old look of concentration and wiggly bum!!!

now we have just had some soup - vegetable - and it is time for bath and bed for them. mr gin is working away from tomorrow afternoon until next saturday so he can do the baths i think.

he's just read that over my shoulder and is getting all huffy that i think him working away is the easy option for him. <sigh> grumpy kids and OH club, here i come...

good to see you again penpin.

hugs to all who need them.

I think I have to stop posting because all of my latest ones have been doom and gloom. DH and I always go to our local at lunch time on Sundays.

We walked in to find that our group were very quiete.
DH was taken aside and told that one of our friendly group was driving to Cardiff with his wife to visit their DD. He didn't feel well so pulled into the side.
999 was called but after all of their efforts he died , heart attack, Lloyd was only 51.

Dear God, I feel so guilty having moaned about the state of the house we rent out., and for thinking things can't get any worse than they are now.

    How wrong I was.

So sorry to hear your sad news Beth, ((((Hugs)))) to you. Don't feel guilty, it's natural for us all to be focused on our own problems, you obviously have a good heart and a good sense of perspective and can appreciate others' problems.

beethbee, so sorry to hear about your friend, how terribly sad, don't worry about moaning on here, we all do that, hugs to you xx

Well we are all tired, we have emptied DD'd bedroom, painted it throughout, and got all the stuff back in, its taken us all day, but is looks so much better, so I'm glad its done, we treated ourselves to a takeaway for tea, I really did not fancy cooking.

Hope you all have good evenings xx
