Thankyou ladies, my birthday is not til Saturday but it was a lovely suprise and filled to the brim with goodies :) I was meant to try and start it tonight but I have been busy making nappy cakes and towel cakes for a christening tomorrow!

Hopefully tomorrow evening I will have some time on my own!

Morning Mrs Mac, nice to know I'm not the only early bird.

The little cow for my friends little lad is so nearly finished, another couple of hours and I should be there but I keep getting interruptions and I can't seem to get back to it.

Last night I had a friend stop by with a pressie for me, today my parents are coming to help me with some jobs and I am cooking dinner for them to say thank you and tomorrow it's back to work. Most evenings are spent asleep, anyone know how we can fit more hours in the day?

I know what you mean about blending and single stitches. The zebra I'm so desperate to get back to is very much like that. The actual eye was all black which is central and where I started but as I move out onto his face there are so many different shades of gray it is madness. Half of them look the same to me but you just know that this is what will give it the detail when it is finished. I have a space all ready and waiting on my lounge wall, all I need now is the time to get on with it.

let us know how you get on maria. I'm envious of you, I wish I didn't have to do so much today, I'm really tired and would love to finish this cow whilst I catch up on this weeks CSI.

I am determined to stay awake tonight and do as much as I can.

    Have a lovely day

    Morning Jintyb

Im here :rotfl:only because I have just taken a break to make a cuppa and ring my mum before I get back to the x stitch :D.... I seem to be making headway with all the bloomin background -but there is sooooooo much of it :p....I shouldn't complain though because once I have finished it I have the dreaded back stitching to do ...mind I don't always put on all that the pattern says..I quite often find that they put that much on that it looks too much ...
How is your back stitching going? what is your next project? like to be nosey :p

    Good Morning Everyone

    Hope you're all well?

Sorry, I've not posted much on this thread, I've been too busy making other things, but thought I'd show you my biggest cross stitch:

    It measures 20" x 17"
