Anyone Into Cross Stitching?

I wondered if anyone may help. Would like to do a Red Floral piece or something else quite dramatic on black either aida or i think i have some black linen napkins that may work. I cannot seem to find a decent pattern does anyone have any ideas at all where to look.
Am also looking for an arum (?) lilly pattern so I can do a panel for a friend as a thankyou gift - general nudge in the right direction would be gratefully received. (plus the odd prod now and again to get some of it done !!!) - I will post a piccie of the lavendar bags I have done think 3 more to complete, however this is one of the napkins I did for my Gran, just the table cloth to complete.

What size design are you looking to do?
I have a poppy design (it was free on the inside of the packet of aida I got) if that might be any good-
I think its 3 or 4 poppies -so you could just lift off the section you wanted? -I could try and get it scanned and pm'd to you
A tip for working on dark fabric(in case it helps anyone) -when you are working , drop a bright tea towel across your knee -it makes the holes in the fabric show up better ...hope that helps

Well folks, I won the magazine in the Ebay auction - so wait till it comes, get ordering some threads and material and get in a comfy seat and start stitching again. Still looking for your orange girl with world MRSMCAWBER - looks so beautiful. Does anyone else know where I might find her.

Guess that must mean it's not too far away now then. I'm due 22/9 and I can't wait. She will be my first, and probably only, so I am thoroughly enjoying getting totally carried away with it all.

ocemeer - I have this chart of arum lilies which I would be willing to send to you. As the picture says its a fire screen so it is large, 18 x 13 ins (47 x 32 cm) approx on 14 count aida. The chart uses coloured squares as opposed to symbols (I prefer symbols) and has Madeira, DMC and Anchor colours listed.
