Thats great maria. hope all goes smoothly. do you know what you are having? Lots of people are really surprised that I wanted to know but I am so bad waiting for surprises I would never have held out until sept. It's like someone giving me a xmas pressie and telling me not to open it. Not happened yet and unlikely to start behaving myself now:o

I am nearly finished with the cow, though it feels like i've been saying that for ages. I'm on the last colour of colouring in the background so should be sorted very soon. then I need to finish the zebra for me. Won't start stitching for little lady until she is here safe and sound.

Oh my god, that is so gorgeous. I am having a little girl and have my eye on a Winnie the Pooh afghan, but it is £41. Not sure on names at the mo, just keep getting stupid suggestions from people at work. Bought 40,001 baby names book in the Asda baby event so I'm hoping I may find something suitable in there.

Tyler is a lovely name, he will be so impressed with his mummys beautiful blanket. For some reason Tyler James just sprang to mind, no idea why?

Well, I've spent all night counting only to find that name 7,592 is a boys name. Rank:eek: apparently it is american but who on earth would want to be called rank??

I think further investigation is needed.

I will think about it later while I finish (or try to) the cow.

You think 'Rank' is bad, when my ex boss was looking for baby names, the book she had listed 'Romford' as a name  We actually worked in Romford (aka known as chav central) at the time.

Try page 46, 3rd name from the bottom of the page.

I went to my cross stitch meet yesterday and I'm pleased to report that I've finished something :T. I didn't want to take the Bras kit with me, as I need the bigger frame and it's too bulky. I found a little Mouseloft kit of a Gheko that I bought on holiday last year, so I took it along, and finished it in just over an hour. No pics yet, as I thought I'd pop it in a card and give it to my DH. So I'll link to a pic once I've done that.

Just to let you all know I went into my local Poundland yesterday and they had some cross stitch kits in.
I'll admit they weren't fantastic especially the larger ones but the packs of 2 small designs weren't too bad if you searched through what was on offer.
The smaller ones (pack of 2 for £1!) could be ok for just a quick project as a break between larger projects or for anyone just starting out cross stitching.

You do have to search through them though.....one kit was a kittens face but in all honesty it looked wonky to me.....like it had ran into a wall :o
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
