Where did you get the plastic pocket things? I've searched everywhere but no joy!

Bulgaria :o I know you can buy them on ebay but they come from china and are already in a folder. I can send you some of the ones I got though if you like?

Steph! Well done getting them home from your hols - that's dedication bringing them from Bulgaria! I thought I was the only one who did mad things like that! In my pre MS days, I once brought a massive patchwork quilt home from the States - it was a bargain though I spent what I saved on a case to bring it back  Thanks for your kind offer - Mrs M has posted a link for me so I'll investigate that first! Thanks MrsM!

Quilt-I did that too! :D I love it, though. I also brought back a shelf, which I was convinced would easily fit in my (rather large) suitcase. But it didn't...

Luckily my Grandma was travelling with us, so she was told to carry it on as hand luggage and 'look feeble'. The cabin crew stored it away carefully for her and we didn't get any hassle about it. Carrying it across London on my own to get home wasn't fun though. I had the shelf, a huge suitcase and the biggest carry-on bag I could get away with. Escalators were scary carrying so much luggage...
I *love* going on holiday to America!

I have a confession....I have bought yet another kit to add to my stash. Remember the Dictionary of Bras that my DH bought for me for Valentines? Well, they've now brought out a Dictionary of Cakes, and I couldn't help myself. I'm calling it an early birthday present, as it's my birthday in 3 weeks. :T Any excuse to justify my spending.

I do love that shelf. It was from a craft fair somewhere in New Hampshire. I wanted the larger shelf, but my mum talked me out of it! Just as well, really.
The last time I went home to visit my family in Gloucester, my case was mostly filled with birthday presents for other people, yet somehow I came back with the suitcase full to bursting, a big carrier bag of stuff, and some more things stored at Mum's to bring home next time. How do I do it??? I think Home Bargains is partly to blame as the nearest one to me is 50 miles away, so I go a bit mad when I go home and visit the one in Stroud.

A fellow Gemini! My birthday is June 15th. I'll be 29, so next year is a bigger celebration for me. DH turns 50 next year too, so we'll be doing something special-Vegas, maybe!:T What are your plans for your birthday? Anything cross stitch related on your wish list???

Im just having a small family "do" in the garden on the Saturday - we've got ourselves a big gazebo with sides so that should accomodate everyone plus the food and drink. It going to be very informal as the age range is 2yrs - 80! Hopefully the weather will be good as my house is very small and I dont know where I'll put everyone if it rains. Im looking forward to it - Im going to have some 50's music etc and some daft games so it will be a laugh. As far as xstich is concerned Id love a Lizzie Kate Christmas Design to get going on! Happy Birthday to you when it comes!

That sounds fun! I'm having a picnic, so I'm hoping for good weather too. If not, it's going to have to be a roast dinner in the pub as my house isn't big enough for many people either. Hope you have a great birthday when it comes around. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the LK chart for you!

I've done stranger things than that before lol! We even brought a hammock back from Turkey, I've also carried thousands of pounds worth of money back from Bulgaria with a house that we had sold for my aunty (there was no other way)

We do loads of wild things while we're away I've got plenty of stories lol.

The offer is there if you can't find any though.
