Hi, do you use ebay at all? Yoy can often pick up kits for far less than sold in shops but check out the seller before buying as I know some people sell dodgy stuff. www.sewandso.co.uk is quite good and I think they do have a sale in January. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
thanks, i had a look on ebay but nothing that really interested me, i'm not a fan of scenery
so far i've doneand a metoyou one,
I love doing the pillows but theyre at least £20 each  i can go to ikea and get 10pillows for that!

This site has lots of bargains. Also, it's worth going to a show when they're on. I know they'll be a London one in the new year, but they have them all over the country. If you let me know roughly where you live, I can find out more details for you.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I'm in London too. There are 2 show early in the year. They usually have a show at Ally Pally later in year too. Will probably be at the Excel show this time. Might make it to both, depending on the funds...

Don't know if anyone has posted about this prior to me - haven't time tonight to look through all the posts on the thread. Some Woolies stores stock small cross stitch kits. With closure date and more discounting announced today, might be a little cross stich bargain in store. But please, please do not abuse the staff as some have been doing!!!Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.

I think abusing the staff in Woolies-or anywhere else-is horrible! They're losing their job for goodness sake, they don't need extra stress on top of that. I did look in a couple of stores, but not spotted any cross stitch. Got some nice cards half price though.
If you look at Past Impressions website, they had some nice xmas kits reduced. Also www.stitcher.co.uk have very good prices.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Just found this thread so apologies if this has been posted already as haven't been able to read every page.
