Oh yay the cross stitching thread is back up here! I'm currently doing a tiger for my sister for Christmas, also have to stitch a meerkat for my mum and my Christmas cards!
Does anyone know where I can get some cheap aida? I need a fair old bit and it seems expensive! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
I wait until a stitch show if I can. You can get some great bargains on fabric there. If you need it urgently, I'd recommend Sew & So or Sew It All.
Is there anyone stitching things for Christmas yet?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I am I'm stitching a tiger design by Jan Lynn for my sister for Christmas. Although once I've got my aida I'll take a break form that to work on my Christmas cards so that those are done ready to send off.
I forgot about sew and sew I will have to check them out thanks!!

Hello everyone, I'm another cross stitcher and a scrapbooker too.
I'm just starting a cross stitch for my dad for Christmas, seeing as he seems the few in my family who appreciates hand made items
I used a pattern creator to make a chart of a Terminator 2 image - Arnie on a bike! Lol! Not what I usually like to make (Samplers/Victoriana/Cute sayings) but I'm pretty sure he'll love it. I need to stock up on DMC though and was thinking of popping to Hobbycraft tomorrow - does anyone know their prices? Would rather order online than get ripped off. 0
