    Hi everyone,

Been reading this thread for a while, some of the projects you've done are amazing.

I've been doing cross-stitch since i was at school - 23 now. But sadly i never get much time to do it. maybe 1/2 an hour a day, less when i was at Uni.

I have an egyptian person that i started when i was 18 - still haven't finished it! but i'm getting on with it now, took me 2 days to sellotape the chart back together because it had fallen to bits. And theres still some more smaller projects lurking in my cupboard. Managed to make cross-stitch christmas cards last year and want to do them again this year.

I also want to knit a babys hat in time for november for my friends first baby. I'm terrible at knitting so my mum will have to teach me again (for about the 5th time).

Does anyone use computer programs to make their own designs? I am tempted to try something like this when i've finished the current ones.

peppermint, I found this free thing http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/ a long while back, don't know if it will be useful to you? It says for cross stitch knitting and crochet.

This carousel horse had been in my stitching box untouched for about 5 years! :o I keep getting sidetracked with other projects but I will get back around to working on it soon.

MistyBlue, that is gorgeous, if you get it finished you could framed it and give as an Xmas pressie ;)

That's really pretty Misty Blue. I dread to think how many unfinished ones I have stored around here, and there's even more finished ones that I have never had framed.
