Morning all
Have just caught up with the thread, have been back in the UK for 3 weeks and missed so much on my usual threads...just about back upto speed again now :T
Some lovely x stitches been posted since i went away ..well done folks.
I have decided to x stitch some things to give to the hospice that looked after my sister at home (she only needed them for 10 days but they did a sterling job) ... I know they have fetes etc, so im hoping to make loads of stuff for them to sell to raise funds -I have thought of the following... but im hoping you guys might think of things i haven'tI have loads of threads and beads and quite a bit of fabric ...so let me have your ideas
- lots of cards... even though i don't enjoy them that much, I want to make loads to take back to the Uk next time i go. im going to sew them and then put them in the cards when i go back -they will only get battered in transit otherwise
- Small cushions that you hang up with lavender etc in -going to get mum to dry me loads of her lavender as she has masses of the stuff;)
- book marks
Right i will get off and get on with some sewing..i still have mums lady to finish for xmas
have a good day everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 - lots of cards... even though i don't enjoy them that much, I want to make loads to take back to the Uk next time i go. im going to sew them and then put them in the cards when i go back -they will only get battered in transit otherwise

I am looking for any source of Polly Carbonari cross stitch charts. I have done the "a real princess always washes behind her ears" . These charts are so cute, but I haven't been able to find any more. Can any one help me source them , thank you xx :j0

Hi all!
Collected my cross stitch yesterday and finished it this afternoon!! I totally loved doing it it was great! I'm thinking of getting a couple more to do for christmas pressies. Ideally I would like a meerkat one for my mum and some big cats for my sister. Saw a gorgeous one on ebay of big cats that I'm sure someone posted a link too but it has beads and I'm not so sure about it.
This is my finished cross stitch!! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -

gillsmills - I found this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Country-Wisdom-Polly-Carbonari/dp/0882902954 can't find much else though!
or these items on ebay:
I presume these are from the same range; 370069253689 (a real princess always says her prayers),
370069254216 ( a real princess doesn't need a crown).
Hope they are ok0
