I'd keep appealing mate - cos by the sounds of it, my file is worse than yours.

I have 2 ccjs at this address - they've both only just been marked satisfied, and umpteen defaults that I'm stuck with for a couple more years. I've been accepted by Vanquis and Aqua. I haven't applied to Captial one cos that's who one of my ccjs was for :o (silly in my youth, all sorted out now though!)

    Good luck

no problem with my capital one card, interest rate is silly though, i tend to use and pay off now. but they gave me it knowing i had around 7 defaults on my record, all of which should now have been marked as settled (only egg hadn't last time i checked) and be removed as they are past their time.

virgin has just given me a £5k card (according to their website anyway, no sign of the card yet, time will tell) so i think i'll be cancelling my capital one card and replacing it with this one.
