See your report
Your credit report contains much more detail about what you owe and how well you are managing your debts. You can see it as often as you like, at no extra cost.
Your Experian Credit Score
337
On June 18, 2008
On the right, you'll see some highlights calculated from the information on your credit report. This information is as up-to-date as possible but you should remember that it is based on the latest information supplied to Experian by lenders which may not reflect your position on today's date. For example, you may have paid off a credit account since your lenders last submitted an update, or spent some of your available credit.
If the summary contains any terms you don't understand, click on where you'll find explanations.

Firstly, 66 searches in a year is crazy, you really really are not doing yourself any favours constantly applying for credit.
You have a CCJ... settled or not settled this is still a BIG black mark
You have 6 financial associates or aliases? Do you realise that financial associates means that every time you apply for credit they search the credit files of those you are financially associated with? Do you know what state these people's credit files are in?
Only being at your address for 4 months can bring down your score a bit too unfortunately.
I don't quite understand how with £1050 outstanding debt & only £750 available that equates to only 4% used?? If £1050 is 4% then you should have nearer £260,000 available.... does this count equity in a mortgage as available credit or something?
Also, you didn't mention of those 10 credit account's how many are settled default's?
I'ts not suprising you have a very low score but don't take CreditExpert as gospel either as it really means nothing in the real world, companies have very different ways of scredit scoring.... the Experian score is just a way of them sucking another £5.95 off you. :rolleyes:0 -

Hi
The Analyst is correct, Experian cannot count.
This is a thread I started when they changed the Credit Expert site and started using the summary box:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=918057&highlight=smithja
Seems they still have not fixed much. I sent James Jones a long email pointing out all of the calculation errors just on the available credit and outstanding debt values, from my own file, in which I said I was going to leave it at that as there were to many possiblities for error on the percentage credit value to go in to it, using their already incorrect values.
He told me they would consider my points, but that the values on the screen were not wrong as I have stated! If they cannot get that right it makes you wonder is the data they submit to banks as a composite score also incorrect?
James
Edit: I would ask for the £5.95 for the credit score back and an explanation of why their summary figures dont add up, putting what they do in the background in to question.0 -
Evening people, how’s tricks, just read the last few post's and cheers for the nomination, I must say I don't expect anything from this as it was designed with helping others and giving deeper insight in to the Sub Prime lending market, everybody who has posted on here has provided constructive information for everyone to benefit from, but thank you anyway. So, Darcy interesting summary of your credit file, have you checked call credit and Equifax yet?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
