I have just recieved my new Capital One card, and am quite surprised... It's the Platinum Mastercard!

After the 0% purchase rate ends in May, it goes back to the same APR as the Classic Visa, and I have a low starting limit, but the card is very grown up, and alot better than the stupid kitten one I had last time lol :D
wow well done!!!:T it looks like everyone on here is now getting closer to the "normal cards"!! x

Neither did I this time last year. The only thing I was getting were demands for payment from debt collectors

If i already have a Capital one Classic card can i apply for one of there more mainstream cards? And if so, do they take into consideration how i have used my current card with them?

    Hope that makes sense!
  • Bloody hell you guys, I think I am dying. I started out with a cold but now I am shivering and shaking and feel and look like something that's been dug up out of a coffin. Is there some super-nasty lurgy going around?

You can only have one CaoOne card at a time so you would have to close the Classic card then apply for the Platinum card.

Unless that is a recent change, then i know that is not true as i have held two Capital one Cards in the past, with two limits. Although both cards have since been closed.

I am only going by what has been posted on other threads. No idea if it was a recent change or not.

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Just called them, and you are right. You can only have one card. That is strange though as i have had two previously.

    Never mind.
