    Good evening people, I have been fraud searched by Creation finance! No CIFAS yet but if they dare mark my file I will kick off big time as I have not done anything dodgy when applying. :mad:

    well I applied for the new Abbey credit card , got a letter saying we can't find you and your address - yet I'm on the E/roll etc... weird and telling me to go to a branch with ID to continue with the application.
    Anyone else had this happened?
    And wonder what my chances are...

    not sure but it sounds ok my mate had to do that with lloyds a few years back and they gave him a card i dont know the limit but i know it was high!!
    i think sometimes they use a database used by royal mail is your property a new build?

    no - and the strange thing is I bank or had a account with A&L who are part of Abbey. Anyway , I wonder if I should bother as it may be a decline...as it says 'to carry on processing your application'...
