Well, as recently as October, Barclaycard have only searched Equifax for me. Long story short, I mentioned mycashplus in the branch where I had my current account (mainly thanks to my employer being there I had no problem opening it), and they were sure they could give me a "real" credit card. Well, they didn't, and I didn't have the chance to ask why due to travelling...

mbna not yet, thanks -- I can afford to put a search on the credit file this year, since no one wanted to even let me apply. Though none of vanquis, aqua, capital one (and not even flybe) lets you past "oh, since your address is too new, what's the previous one", so I couldn't get even a no so far. I've been waiting to see if I'm on the voters roll, but that won't happen until January. I'm now split between trying something, or leaving it all until next year :)
    Enjoy the silence...
  • Well I've bitten the bullet and applied for Vanquis, my first credit card application in six years. I'm now in the '10 to 14' day waiting phase! My recent Experian score was 815 after completing an IVA in October, so fingers crossed.

    Sorry.

I always check Quidco or RPoints before I apply for or buy anything online. Just in case.
