Studio seem to like raising credit limits. I bought my wrapping paper, Xmas card and some decs from them last month. They opened the account for me and gave me a CL of £80. Paid the balance of in full and now I have a CL of £130. Not much I grant you but I've never come across a company which raises limits after just one payment.

Computer always says no with me on studio

My OH has JD williams, they have increased his limit every statement (started at £200 then £300 and new statement shows limit as £400)

Just wanted to add that he had an old capital one card that had a shocking history showing. When he rang to clear it (card was seriously in arrears and account had been closed), they offered to process a new application on the spot.

He was given a platinum 0% card with a rubbish limit BUT they have removed all his old account information from the CRA's and replaced it with the new info - his credit report makes much better reading now!! Thought this might be useful info for others :D
