Suppose in fairness I've achieved things this year (though a credit card isn't one of them)
Have two contract handsets on O2 and a catalogue that has just had its credit limit doubled.
Full bank account and a credit card are my targets now
I really really mucked up 6 years ago, and it has taken until the last few months to be able to get a proper bank account. I even have my first overdraft which I never had before I lost the plot.
I got my first o2 contract about 3 years ago, but had to pay a deposit of £50 which was refunded on my third statement. Since then I have been able to upgrade no problem/take out additional contracts.... o2 were the only provider to give me a chance.
It will happen in the end. Just hang in there

well i have to confess i have gone a bit mad on the old credit card !!!
we booked our holiday(6 of us and guess who was the only one with a card!!! to pay deposit) and i have bought a lot for christmas, and to be honest i feel really bad!!! will have to clear the balance over a couple of months and when i was using it i was scared to death incase it was declined, i wonder if this is a normal reaction after so long with no credit???

I have noticed a couple of £1 transactions coming off my barclaycard, one last week and there is another pending one, I dont understand what this could be and was just wondering if you think there is something dodgy going on, your views are appreciated.0 -
this happened to me and when I queried with there customer services , they said not to worry and wait to see if they hit as purchases , if they do to call them up . They never did.0
