    Hey, I received a letter from barclaycard today saying I have been provisionally accepted, all I need to do is send some ID in so they can send my card out etc, watch I go to all of this trouble and they knock me back! :mad:

    Nah sounds like they have accepted you maybe it's because you have all those fraud protectors on your credit file and they want to confirm it's you.:confused:

    Suppose in fairness I've achieved things this year (though a credit card isn't one of them)

    Have two contract handsets on O2 and a catalogue that has just had its credit limit doubled.

    Full bank account and a credit card are my targets now
