remember my application for an egg card and it was over a week since i had heard from them?

well got an email from them today and went through the acceptance procedure and got accepted! i got £5,500 @16.9% APR.

im really chuffed because that will be enough for me to transfer the rest of my barclaycard account to this and all of my virgin card to this as well so i will not end up paying the dreaded high interest rates they are currently charging! 0% for another 12 months! lets see if i can at least pay some chunks off my debt now! :rolleyes:

Well, thought it was too good to be true, got another letter from Barclaycard saying my application was unsuccesfull, how do they work that out, letter on Friday saying provisionally accepted...send in ID, letter this morning saying knocked back! :mad:

thanks. wasnt expected to get such a high limit too! usually they give about 2k. no doubt i wont be their best customer as i wont be spending on the card. :rotfl:

Well at least you have had a letter from Barclaycard my mum is still waiting.
