Please save me trawling through previous pages lol. Exactly what nasties do you have showing on your credit file at this particular time. When were they recorded and when were they settled (if applicable).

Also, what active cards/loans do you currently have and what are their limits and current balances.

Sorry for being nosey, but these would help me make a fair assessment

They have sent you a prepayment card for your meter even though you have a DD set up?!!!

Right they must have your meter down as prepayment then. Get in touch, or your DD won't be taken and it can lead to debt! Some poor sod had their DD cancelled by accident, didnt realise and had to pay over 2k in one sum!

And i hope you're all behaving!!! OR ELSE!

Thing is I had the last bill in August and , obviously paid the difference from DD and then this.....I dunno , when I moved here two years ago it took them 8 months to get my bill right (kept confusing the meters with other flats) then I had a large bill- £200 (and paid!)

best way is to demand a manager mate, they can't say no, don't accept anything like but they're in a meeting, it's bullcrap there is always someone available.
then demand the manager calls you back, and take names!

Hi,

Does anyone know whether Vanquis will accept me? I'm a student, 21, unemployed. I have had a credit card before with Lloyds and never had any problems. I only want it for purchasing from the USA - my Visa debit card charges me for every transaction, and will be paying the balance off in full each month with my savings. Would be nice to get the £20 cashback too... but failing that, I'll go ask Lloyds to renew my student credit card which has just recently expired.
