Role play? Is that like getting her to poke your @rse with a cucumber?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Hey Steven,
Well, 2009 is gonna be a good year for you!!! Prime High Street Lenders all the way :T
TBH, I think the bankruptcy would be your main hurdle with some of the potential lenders. But like you've seen already, it's a bit of pot luck. You have successfully received a number of cards, but been declined by others. If only we knew how lenders score us it would make things a lot more clearer and avoid uneccesary applications if we knew for certain that we didn't meet their criteria.
If I were you, I would lay off the applications until June when your file is completely clear of the nasties. Then you can pick and choose what cards to go for, as opposed to the other way round.
The plus points are; your current credit agreements aren't maxed out, you have available credit but choose not to use it (less risky to the lender than if you had no available credit) ; you have a decent job with a decent wage ( we all know you oil riggers are on mega money); and you have shown good account activity since your discharge.
Really, the only negativity is the bankruptcy. Unfortunately, nothing to be done about that, but as you've seen they can still accept you based on your positives.
I'm rambling. Basically, 50/50 on getting the cards you've applied for. Your best bet is to lay off the searches until you get discharged, as the last thing you want is to have no bankruptcy or defaults, but are hit with a load of searches instead
Fairmorn graduates in May 2009, you lucky sod0 -
