Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

I don't agree with you here. In my experience, the card companies will do everything they can to ensure repayment. They will harass customers to make partial payments, they will sell the debt on to DCAs, ultimately they WILL take the customer to court.

It is not a pleasant position to be in to have debts that you can't pay. The Debt Collection Agencies will even send people to your home (when they actually have no right to do so) and they will shout abuse from the street and let the neighbours know that you have bad debts.

I think that with the exception of bankruptcy, the Card Companies do generally manage to get their money back, even if they have to make a Full and Final settlement.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
