    Guys, I think I've done something a bit silly....................:o

I was reading Kiora's post where she applied for the Amex (good luck K :) ), and I was wondering what their criteria were, so had a look on their website. I got drawn to the Platinum Cashback and was reading their eligibility requirements:
    • I am aged 18 or over
    • I have a current UK bank or building society account
    • I have an Annual Household Income of £20,000 (ie. your personal income plus partner's income)
    • I have a permanent UK home address
    • I have no County Court Judgements for non-payment of debt
    • My company has been trading for more than a year (only if you are self-employed)
.....and I thought yes to all if those....so then I was thinking should I apply...................and because the apply button is so darn addictive, I did!!

............and I got what I think was an approval. It said yes but there further down it said that the decision would be made in a few days on the additional card holder........but I checked no for the additional card holder.

So now I don't know what the score is, and I feel so stoooooooopid for resisting temptation :(

Kiora, which one did you apply for? What did the message say at the end for you?
  • Unfortunatly you will have to contact all three CRA, they do not share the same database so each database will have to be updated seperatly.

I am sure I read somewhere if you do a disassociation they let the other CRA's know? Will have to search for this now. Dam, why did n't I book mark it. Will post again when/if I find it:rolleyes:

    Hi Ginger,

My Experian file is as clean as a whistle - no nasties. My Equifax file holds 2 defaults. One satisfied in December 2005, the other satisfied in March 2007.

I checked my credit reports online tonight, and the Amex search shows on the Experian but not on my Equifax. I'm hoping they just checked the Experian :)
