Got home today to find a letter from Flybe, which I was declined for a credit card!!
It's weird that I've got a Vanquis card and a mortgage (all up-to-date) and just got A&L account without any problems!!

I wonder if Capital One or MBNA would accept me???

Try MBNA first, actually try Virgin which is a flavour of MBNA.

Thanks very much all for your goos wishes. Im extremely happy and content now tonite, more so than i have been in months. I said i wouldnt go mad with the card and i wont but i feel like i should treat myself at the weekend, May spend 100 on clothes and couple wee bits and pieces for myself that i never have these days. I will be careful of it though. Who ever would have thought getting a credit card would leave one on cloud 9 lol

well done i can't even get a vanquis card!! got a t-mobile contract and a full yorkshire bank current account. do you have ccj or defaults?

Sorry to hear that-it does seem to be pot luck doesnt it, im still waiting to hear from Flybe its been over 10 days now and im getting impatient!!
Its amazing though that some people are getting accepted-goes back to my theory that perhaps these companies know something we dont!!;)
