as you can see (my signature) and as mr p knows i went through a bad patch a few years back through no fault of my own i have paid off the debt and i cant get jack 27 and i feel like a school boy i dont think this is fair as i dont usually operate this way so for me these guys would be awesome if they were to give me a line of credit to improve for my future

Why is having credit so important to you ?

Can't you just "do without" the things you can't afford with the money you already have ?

But the guy is not after "things" he just wants to use the card as a tool for restoring his credit rating mate.

ICan’tStandIt, if you wouldn't mind could you briefly outline your financial status and or past please? Have you ever been exposed to financial difficulty or had to start again in the financial world? The reason I ask is because if you have always had a clean slate and never struggled I don't think you can understand nor even comprehend what our mission is.

ICan'tStandIt... I really don't think you understand the spirit of this thread!

I've been in a position where I cannot obtain mainstream credit / finance and had to resort to taking out Capital One and Vanquis cards in order to restore my credit reference files to a decent state. After nearly two years of staying squeaky clean I can now obtain some of the best offers and credit deals.

And this is exactly what people posting in this thread are aspiring to, they're not trying to raise as much credit as possible to go out and blow it, just simply trying to get back into the mainstream, and 'sub-prime' cards are a means to an end.

I'd suggest if you have no real useful input to the thread that you refrain from posting any further.

    Regards
    UNDERGROUND :D

P.S. Enjoy reading through this thread regularly, nice one PROLIANT! ;)
