    hi dave,
some of us were lucky enough to get offered the card without having to pay the £100 deposit, if youre offered it with the deposit, then you get it back after 5/6 months, as long as youre keeping your account in order by not going over the limit, and by paying on time - some of us also got offered 19% deals and some had 29.9% deals, not sure why but again i think its down to what our credit files are showing. good luck if you decide to apply

Thanks Emmy, its good to know there are people like you around to offer advice.

I will have a good look through the options.
  • Has anyone had any joy with Barclard Initial? I want to apply to a name I know and trust, but the credit builder one doesn't really give you anything in the way of a credit limit.
  • My oh apllied for the barclaycard intial - applied on a Sunday , first we new was when the card dropped through the letter box with a credit limit of £750.

You can pre register your debit card with them. I have always paid by phone this way, and yes they accept visa electron, as that is what I pay with :)

If you pay at a Post Office there is a fee around the £1.50 mark. I either pay over the phone with my Visa debit card or send the funds via internet banking

Evening all, more new member here, hello and welcome! ;)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
