What I have learnt from Sygma is (got JJB because of this thread) is Flybe is the 'best ' one to apply for - more offers and the only one to let you do balance transfers.

One thing to be careful of is catlogue accounts - having spoken to underwriters previously is 'if' these are high , or if you have high limits it goes against you as to high credit card limits - as they can see if you have high catologue amounts its rollowing over - where with credit cards , they can't see if its paid off monthly or carried over (maybe talking in my case as highest balance would be £1k).
Suppose if you owed £2+ k its a different story with credit cards.

When I applied both times , I got a instant yes - but did not know my limits.
And they seem to only search Equifax - Although I have no footprints or searches showing from them? Strange?
Did you see Monument are open for applications ... not that I will apply!

i also got a no also no from cap 1 and vanq but i got the mbna (very strange) and now have my A&L account so going to run them well and apply for nothing else
