Thanks for that, is it ok to do a balance transfer if it is not my card? I'm not bothered enough to do an SBT but more curious to see if it is possible.
Otherwise, we shall pay his cap one bill separately and put summat like fuel on MBNA to kickstart the greens

its great you are all getting accepted but its strange how i got accepted for a cap1 card in march and just got a MBNA card but cant get accepted for anything else

hey darcy try 0800 952 5267, is the one off the back of the card for lost / stolen but there is an option for existing customer, takes you to same place as other numbers - i usually use this cause its free

right im a bit gutted that they have only preapproved a limit of £100 but said it could increase when they actually receive my credit agreement!!

however i asked about a limit increase and it is automatic if you are within your limit with no missed payment its practacally guarantee'd to go up on your 4th statement

Ooh, crikey. I don't know if you are able to do a balance transfer from a card in someone else's name?? One of the experts will be along to give the answer to that. I remember seeing that question being asked before, but can't remember what was said lol

ah well at least it was an approval, hope you get the increase, they seem to be quite good about it now from what ive read. im one of the ones that has had it three years with no increase tho but dont care now i got my shiny mbna!:D
