thats gd to get an increase with aqua, nice one, as for cap1, they seem to be the card who lacks giving out increases as far as i can see. they do assess your account on the 4th statement i think but not many have managed to get an increase tho...... gd luck with yours

If its your 4th statement today, then log into your online account, and you will be able to see straight away if they have increased it.

They increased mine from £500 to £1500 on my 4th statement.

I've just received my 4th E-statement from Capital One, and I have a got a credit limit increase :j

Credit limit now stands at £1600

I clear the balance in full every month, I never leave an outstanding balance on there to accrue any 34.9% interest lol. So it is nice to be appreciated

Does anyone know when they do their next increase??

What was your starting limit Sammy Girl? Mine was only £200..

I have decided to give me OH my debit and credit cards so i can save some money etc. Going to open a basic account when i get home with another bank and transfer X amount every month so i can live off that and save with the other account etc.

Going to use the credit cards for very small buys every month to to keep it ticking over tho.

I joined cap 1 in march and after 4 statements i got a increase to £500 am not sure if there is another stage of when u get another increase tho

Cap 1 gave me a starting limit of £1000. Rather high I thought compared to the £250 Vanquis gave me

hey guys i was stupid when i got my 2 defaults removed and i had a crack at capital one who have refused me about 5 times in 3 years i thought this is the last time i will ever apply with them if they refuse so i filled the application and submitted it 'we cant make a instant decision blah blah blah expexting to find a refusal letter in the letter box pretty soon all to plan home from work 20 mins ago to find a envolope from capital one!!!

i opened it and to my disbelief i have been accepted i cant believe it lol woop 2 cards in a month i have no idea of the limit but i dont care as its another step on the ladder
