Well I decided to apply for the 'Flybe' card today . Like the idea of free flights , anyway got a instant YES! Only thing is , I then realised it is run by the same company who administer my 'JJB' card - no problems , had this for around six months ...........but a naff limit of only £250! So wondering if they will give me a worse limit!
Now , I have no adverse history or missed payments. Anyone else had experience of this?0 -

hi all
i wonder if you could help me. I am having a few money problems. Credit card company wont freeze interest. I got a letter to day saying they have taken money out of my halifax account to cover a payment for credit card, without asking.they said that i should read my terms and conditions. Do they have the right to do this without asking me first. I have already been charged for going over my overdraft.

yeah i,m afraid so m8, best thing you can do is try and put it in another bank account otherwise they will keep doing it and are not bothered if you get charges because of them taking money out..0

No Aron, this is called "statistics" mate, they use data mining algorithms to compare your credit profile with that of other known good, low risk customers, not saying that you are a bad payer or anything like that it is just standard practice. Yes it is frustrating to get knocked back, it makes you feel bad I know, if you have been knocked back as many times as I have you tend to become immune to the "computer says no" response, have you checked all three of you credit files to see if there is any dodgy data on there?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Hi, i have only checked Experian so far. I have never had problems getting credit before which was why i didn't understand it because i know people in a much more unstable financial position to me who were accepted straight away.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
