Not been good for me got turned down by halifax . i am thinking of making an appeal.
is it worth it. Would they check my credit file again if i appeal.

Crikey we've all had quite a bit of bad news on the application front in the last week or so.

Kiora, bad luck on Tesco. Just think how much better your file will be in 12 months....they'll be throwing cash back cards at you

Zeus - it's always worth a try. If you don't ask, you don't get. Others have been successful on appeals. As far as I know they don't do a second check, but someone may be able to correct me.

Feddie - Welcome to the world of sub prime lol. That response is more common than you think. It's a waiting game I'm afraid. Some have had yes, some have had no. I'm dying to apply for the Flybe card, but I have to restrain myself at the mo lol

Fine Sammy but have now been replaced by an even better pair of rockports lol......... \00/

when you make an appeal against a refusal they do another unrecorded search so other lender cannot see it and it does not play anypart on your score
