Hullo, BigGunsLodger has woken up again...
Hey did you pack my cooking set (saucespans etc) that was on top of the fridge?Brand new in a box X
Ah, I wondered whose those were! No they're still at the house. I'm out of the country now until September (brief stop in April) x
Kk can I get them at some point? x
Sure in September. Or I'm back 6th-8th April x
I'm away easter weekend, I may forget by september! Lol.. Kk x

I hope he's not expecting another reply to that...

The bit I've omitted is that we've actually unpacked them (I found them on top of the fridge, assumed them to be abandoned by an ex-lodger as so many things are and 'ad 'em). I have kept the packaging, which includes the original receipt for something like £20. So he can deduct that from the £210 he owes me if he likes.

But there's sod all effort I'm going to make on his behalf from the middle of France 10 weeks after his eviction! :rotfl:

You mean you're not going to leg it back from France to polish his saucepans and then wait in for days-on-end till he deigns to collect them????? Don't you realise he might have to go hungry with nothing to heat his baked beans in

I've not been as far as expected so far (apart from a wee skit in Japan). Details are here: http://emilysearlyretirement.blogspot.com

In the meantime though, Tufter never did come home and we have to assume he never will. One of my new writing projects is a semi-fictional biography of his life, starting with the fluffy little kitten who seems to keep getting moved from owner to owner and is told about 'how to manipulate humans' but never really quite gets it.

NakedChefLodger hasn't been the most timely with his rent, although he promises to catch up...

The Tufter book sounds like a good read! Been following some of your travelling antics on facebook, is your campervan all sorted now?

Not really... it developed an oil leak which was a very minor problem, just a cover put back the wrong way round... but all the oil has leaked over the alternator and broken it :(

The money has been a problem - I've actually applied for a short-term contract back in the UK for a few weeks to earn some more.
