It's quite chilly out tonight and it would be so lovely and amusing to have a bonfire out there to toast some marshmallows on, what with having guests and all. Now, I wonder what could be used for fuel instead of buying some wood and firelighters? * scratches chin pensively*
You wouldn't want to eat anything cooked on it!0 -
Badger_Lady I think you probably have to get in touch and say
"What time will you be here? 9pm tonight or 10am tomorrow"
Cut down his choices.
Make the decisions for him.0 -
Poppysarah, you are funny.
I think that you're quite right, if this git wants his precious filthy rags and other vile belongings he needs to be told when it's convenient to come for them. He owes money. He's been a loathsome and selfish swine in the face of overwhelming reasonableness. He's been turning a perfectly comfortable and clean room into something from a horror movie. He is now being a ruddy nuisance and he's been peevish and querulous with it. I think it might be time to show one is not amused and is in danger losing one's temper. Or for me to have a nice lie-down.0 -

Both of those options sound good- the first for B_L's own good, and the second so you don't have a heart attack when he doesn't get it sorted tomorrow, and then throws a tantrum when B_L is busy during the week.If it rains, it rains.
We'll be in the street, looking thunder in the face,
Singing la la la la la,
I wont change0 -

Oh Hell no! Make it clear that it is not an option!0 -
I'd tell the cheeky git to collect between 10am and 11am tomorrow. If he didn't show I'd then deliver everything to his parents' house, complete with a strongly worded letter advising how much he owes you (including all of the damage he did), and that if it hasn't been paid within 7 days you'll be taking him to court.
I think you'll probably wimp out thoughScience adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.
