Maybe put a stack of old newspapers by the loo & declare that the new toilet paper ;)

Say that the household is going super eco-friendly as you`re spending so much on replenishing... whilst obviously keeping your stash in your room...

And then factor in the cost of a plumber when your newspaper blocks the drains........

Well the new boy never flushes either - the loo's always full of wee

Remember MauritiusLodger and his "Please Flush" sign? I'm sure I've still got it somewhere...

I'm pretty convinced the new girl will sort him out. We met for lunch on Saturday and she seems super-efficient and reliable! She'll have no qualms about telling him off when he annoys her :p

I meant that this would encourage the lodgers not to rely on BL for their lavatorial comfort :)

They're blokes. Some of them ain't blessed with a lot of sense - my brother got it into his head to start using newspaper as loo roll. Right up to the point where he blocked the pipes and Dad had to get the rods out to rod the pipes.

Toilet roll is made to disintegrate easily in water, newspaper isn't

I'm sure it was, but there are a lot of stupid people in the world, and I'm sure some of them read stuff on MSE and think it's a good idea!

Let's just move on shall we :D

Yep, pretty much! I think it's drink-related, he's been having mood swings and suddenly went from feli-phile to cat hater in my absence. Poor Tufter :(

    He plays rugby!

Well our new lady is in. She transferred the money to my bank account and then collected her keys from BigGunsLodger. She sent me a message this morning:
"Tufter is soooo sweet - when I came home from work last night he came around the corner miau to get some cuddles...but at 1am I want to go to bed at some stage as well - so this morning I just heard a miau in front of my door, first though did you dream that, but then remembered that there is in fact a cat.... so I went to feed him and then he just look at me like I want some more cuddles....he is definitely being a good boy..... hope everything is ok in london?!?"

    I think she's a keeper!

But what shall we call her? She's foreign (from Europe), plays the piano and digs classical music...

Lucky Tufter, sounds like he's got a new friend there! Course if she's a hassle free lodger as well as being a Tufter fan then all the better for you and BigGuns.
