Oh no! That sounds so sad BL
You must reclaim your home. But it doesnt sound easy with all that travelling.
Ex is recovering very slowly. It was a major stroke and he has something called left sided neglect which has a bad effect on recovery across the whole range of his disabilities.
Life is just crap sometimes isnt it?Ellie

Oh I've had a very strange contact that makes no sense at all... and I'll probably never find out what was going on!
I had a text message from a number unknown to me:Hello Badger sry to disturb u but the internet isn't working so if u cud c wat's wrong after u com back home
I thought "Ah - that'll be a lodger who's changed their number then", so I replied:OK... that will be next week though! Best bet is to restart the wireless router, on top of the wardrobe in my room. Is this BigGunsLodger? New number?
Only to get:No its [foreign girls' name I've never before heard in my life]
I thought BigGuns might be messing around, so I left it at that. But a few hours later my phone rang from the same number. It was a foreign girl, who started instantly by asking "Are you at work? Are you on holidays? Away from home?". So I said, "I'm really sorry, but who is this?". She said, "It's [name], I texted you earlier." "I know, but... uh... who are you?"
She said that she lived in the house and that she was trying to reach Badger. I said, "Well I am Badger, but I don't know you. Where do you live? What's your address?". She told me a street address that was completely unfamiliar to me - certainly nothing to do with my house - but declined to give a town. She just said that the landlady had told her to contact me, but didn't give her landlady's name.
At that point, the girl panicked and hung up. She just sent me one last message:Sry I must hav got d wrong nun but don't know how com u r Badger as well sry for d disturbance.
I replied saying it's OK and trying to ask her more questions but she didn't want to speak to me any more.

Someone has invited a guest to stay without your permission, thinking that it would be OK with you becuase you've been too flexible and lenient in the past.0

But at a different address? Surely she'd know it was different by the number on the door and the name on the road sign, not to mention the post..?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
She made the different address part up to cover her tracks once she realised that you didn't know she was living there. I suggest paying an unexpected visit, preferably quite late at night to catch them unawares.0

Think I would be going home unannounced just to double check that someone is not subletting in your absence.
But it does seem weird that she had the wrong street name.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
I should probably add that the lodgers don't call me quite the same name... Badger's a nickname that many people call me by, but that the lodgers have never used
.

Oh, I assumed you mentioned the Badger part as you didn't feel the need to use your real name or another alias. I suspect that there is someone staying there without your permission but the someone believed that that you knew until the communication between you revealed that you did not.
