Mmm, that was the lushest breakfast ever... spiced oven baked apple with apricot puree, muesli, Greek yoghurt and grated dark chocolate.

He's still snoring. Every so often he pipes into the conversation but I'm pretty sure he'll have no memory of it!

Actually I've got to be fair, waking up early has done me a world of good today. I've cooked proper meals, done some serious spring cleaning and organised myself ready for the next work trip. High sense of accomplishment. And if I go to bed early I'll be good enough for my 4am coach back to London.

Plus BigGuns has been upstairs in bed listening to my hoover and furniture moving

Ooooh dear, we might have a problem :(

I had an email complaint from the neighbours this week about "girls giggling outside" and "loud bass noises travelling up the walls". I told BigGunsLodger about the overly-loud TV and, to be fair, so far this weekend I haven't heard a peep from it.

    However.

BigGuns' 'stuff' has been spreading round the house. He has clean laundry over the backs of the armchairs downstairs, and several weeks ago the dining room suddenly filled with miscellaneous clothes, accessories and random items. Before my last trip to the US, I had a friendly word and said "look, you've got the house to yourself for a fortnight" (Joanna's on holiday), "just do me a favour and clear that room out", but it hasn't been done at all.

When I arrived on Thursday night, he was sat on the sofa with a girl so he introduced me to her saying, "we're just about to order a pizza and watch a film". I thought nothing of it, but yesterday afternoon she called out "see ya later" as she left the house on her own. I didn't hear a reply from anyone else so I shouted "bye" in return.

And here's the clincher, ten minutes about (at 05:30 on a Saturday morning), she came loudly into the house on her own, marched downstairs and started to have a shouting argument with BigGuns. Raised voices coming from the basement, things like "I was stuck there with no phone!". She's just been upstairs to use the loo and is on her way back down...

    Oh gawd...

The cat was desperate for a wee so I had to go downstairs with him (all the doors were closed).

There's a girl, fully clothed, sat on the sofa. I think she was crying. I said "are you OK?" but she didn't move or respond.

Slightly more worrying to me, the arm of the sofa is completely broken :(

I snuck down to inspect the sofa and... uh... she's still there. She was playing with her phone but completely ignored me, didn't even look up.

Does that mean there's another girl upstairs?
