Memo to self - never start reading interesting humourous threads after 12am!
No-one tell me how it ends - I'm only up to ex-BF1 & Lodgers 2&3!!0 -

Are you interested in loud, heavy guitar music at all? I have a lovely friend in Swansea who I'm trying to fix up with someone moderately sensible after all the lovelies with chaotic lives he's been dating of late. Decent well-paying job, bought own house, good-looking and a right laugh
Heheh, love it - best gig of 2009: The Gallows at TJs. But I can't believe after reading this thread you'd choose me as a "moderately sensible" person appropriate for dating your friend :rotfl:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Only moderately sensible:

Candidate for a CD numberplate ?
I don't want to discriminate by gender, but I always was keen to just live with boys and I can't wait to go back to them! I like boys. They don't get knocked up, for a start.
Any feedback on Quacker's "happy event"?0 -
It's still going well - she's six and a half months down the line now...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

You would if you knew the strife his dating-choices have caused him of late!
Any road, you seem like a decent, fair and amenable kind of lady with her screwed on properly, if a tad trusting. Absolutely nothing in the world wrong with that, in my book.0 -

I completely agree. All the women who I have lived with seem to moan the whole time. Men are much more easy going.0 -
Well my lodger is lovely. But she must think I'm a psycho!
1. Just before moving in, I went for a UK break on my own. I saw a drawing of men's genitalia on a door - I thought it was funny and sent a photograph to my (now ex) boyfriend with a note: "I saw this and thought of you x". Except that I actually sent it to New Lodger.
2. When she came to pay her rent, I cried and bawled at her about the boyfriend split.
3. I had a tantrum when the new washing machine arrived because he hadn't taken it downstairs to the kitchen. So I tried to carry it downstairs on my own, very noisily, before she came dashing down to help.
4. I've been so depressed for the last week - last night I got all the chocolates and sweets I could find from the cupboard and spread them out on the coffee table to munch on whilst watching telly. And left them there.
Watch out for Lodger's new thread about her crazy Landlady!
I also had some very, very sad news from SickinTheBathLodger, who lost his brother last weekI'm hoping to catch up with him soon and see how he's doing.

what was the response ?????
There wasn't one... half an hour later I realised and sent her another message saying, "Oops, sorry! I meant to send that to someone else - please don't think I'm weird!", to which she repled, "no worries"
