A wonderfully evocative and poetic description of the delights and pleasures of foozeball.
However it is woefully lacking in any kind of useful information.0 -
I noticed on rightmove today somebody's already offering their whole house (6 beds) for £12,000 for one week for the Ryder Cup week... just a thought for some future point when you're looking for people.0

Thanks Pn... I was told I could do the same thing but only if the house was immaculate. I don't know about the prices though - I'd pitch at £1200. Some losers are trying to get £40k a week for a 2 bed!!!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Sorry peeps, I've been totally neglecting you! Time to catch up on the tale of the missing floorboards and the insane PotentialLodger...
Well, I told you I was having a break from lodgers to do refurbishment type stuff... the electrician is now two-thirds of the way through rewiring the house and it's hilarious! Floorboards up, plasterwork destroyed... he's doing a very thorough job and it's going to be beautiful, but it the meantime I've sought refuge at my boyfriend's flat.
But there's a very persistent young lady who's determined to move in, despite having come to view the place mid-chaos and with no less than two piles of cat poo to enhance the experience! To be fair, she won't be moving in until it's roughly finished, but she's insisting on paying the deposit / setting up the standing order already. Hurrah!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
