Hi,
I made burgers last night, I mixed beef mince with pork mince and seasoned with onion powder (kids don't like bits of onion) and some garlic powder, pepper and salt and cooked them on the foreman grill. They were lovely and moist. Some people put breadcrumbs and egg in it but I don't and they turn out great.0 -

Eggs and Breadcrumbs
And then you mix it all up and make yer shapes.
I wouldnt personally bother though, your house stinks of cows !!!, the burgers come out with goo all attached to them which you have to then disect and anything you put into them, magically dissapears
I made myself a couple of surprise burgers....and the surprise was, there was nothing left in them!0 -
Hi Chrissyg,
There's an older thread with lots of tips and recipes on making homemade burgers so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.

Hi, I make homemade burgers all the time, they are soo much nicer than bought ones.
1lb lean mince steak (450g)
1 chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, crushed,
salt, pepper, oxo cube, mixed herbs, splash of wocester sauce, teaspoon of marmite.
Mix all together (don't need an egg to bind it, I never use one)
Shape into burgers (usually about 5) (or use a beefburger press)
Grill for about 5 or 6 mins each side.
You can add sweet corn, chickpeas, peppers, anything like that to hide the vegetables in the burger.
I serve these with healthy chips - Cut potaotes into wedges, heat sunflower oil in a baking tray at about 190degrees C, put potatoes in the hot oil and bake for about 45 mins until crispy.0
