Well done Catowen, I love lounging in bed with my laptop.

I should really go to Tesco and buy some soap powder for work, but I really can't be bothered. Mr Twit is working tonight, he was looking at a job at Gateshead this morning and has now gone to Ramsbottom to try and do a bit more on another job. I've no idea what time he will return, but I'll probably be asleep with my lappy next to me.
I'd better set mny alarm for early so I can get the soap on my way into work.

    Hugs as ever

We had a few good showers of rain during the night so I don't have to bother to water the veggies now. :T Sun out now and looks like another gorgeous day. Lucky you, for getting some lovely weather this week. It was warm (note I didn't say hot :D) last year over there for summer as well. Making some beetroot relish this morning & a batch of milo biscuits. Off to the hairdressers tomorrow morning. It's my free foils. ;) The apprentice is doing them for training. Hopefully  all will be well. :D

CM Congratulations. I suppose a trip to Canada in 6 months will be on the cards. ;) I know how worried you were about them a little while ago, what a difference a few months make.
    Twink Don't be jealous. :p
    VickyA Well done.
    Jay Hope the pain eases.

Well off to have a bit of a look around then start my day. Have a good nights sleep. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

evening all - well first day of SATs seems to have passed off ok but it's the dreaded literacy tomorrow - good luck to all the kids, parents and teachers for this week.
Had to go to a meeting for the after care committee. Bit of a pain really as it's the only day dd doesn't go so she was very grumpy about having to go back to school. I hadn't told her that her Dad was coming over though so he rescued her at 7pm. By the time I got in at 8pm they were in the middle of a row - she has spilt some juice on her new rug - he had a go - she said not to stress her out in SATs week so he put his jacket on to go - er who's the grownup? Any way he got as far as the car and then came back and is now lolling around in his pants and shirt - make yourself at home mate. He is staying tonight so he can take dd to school in the morning. I need to go into the breakfast club on my way to work to make sure that one of the ladies is ok. She stormed out of the meeting but I'm not surprised as the comittee want to change all their hours. I left early too - I explained to the Chair that I was trying to address the meeting through the Chair and that she shouldn't keep interrupting me - the third time she did it I beggared off - I've got better thngs to do with my evening than have someone talk over me - well I say better .... just the usual drudgery fo course but still .....
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
